I've had the LX3 since December 2009. It's a compact camera that is popular with photographers for it's classic design, external controls, Leica optics, and great metering. It has been replaced with the DMC-LX5. It is a high end compact that stands out in the crowd by not playing the "more pixels" is better and focusing on capturing a great 10.1 megapixel image.
